If you love somebody let him free. If he comes back to you he is yours…if he doesn't he never was.
This quote comes as a hitch hacker for people in love. If he truly loves you…he would surely come back! But how many of us are ready to let our love free? No, I am not talking of giving them that space they had always needed. It’s about the temporary detachment from your love when insecurity creeps in… to check if he would come back or not. Let alone the aftereffects, maybe they would come back and maybe you are too sure about it… still you can’t take that step of letting them free. Coz we are always afraid of losing people!
I also have a question to ask:
Is it ok if we were a bit possessive, selfish, afraid (of losing ’em) , angry and insecure in love sometimes...in other words...is it ok to have some negative emotions…besides the other obvious things that you feel in love? Or do you think love can be called love only when it is unconditional?
Now for the last part…it is my sweet baby cousin Dhriti’s Third Birthday tomorrow and I’m super excited about the chocolates, cake and the splendid dinner that is to follow.

Nahh dear i dont think the love can be called love only when unconditional, besides as you know not many are able to love this way.
And i believe as we grow closer to the other person new expectations are developed and thats just a part of it. Sometimes it is ok to be selfish, sometimes it is ok to be scared, to feel insecure.. we are all humans.. just if it is not sometimes but on a constant basis then maybe someone should think about such relationship if it might be called love...
And i love this little sweet girl!! She is just soooooooooo cute!!

ive never heard of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE in reality! maybe a much more practical version shold be as u described with minimal possessiveness.. the rest of the traits cant be left or reduced.. it comes with love.. :-) if there is something called ideal - i am yet to see it!

hmmm..its not at all easy to let go our love.. but many a times we have to anf if we dont then they themselves leave us at times to come back again and at times to never turn back.
in love...possessiveness, selfishness, insecurity etc will always be there. i dont agree that love can be called love only wen it is unconditional. unconditional love is possible but the other one does exist also... infact unconditional one is the rarest of rare one.

As for your question, of course it is ok to experience any emotion you want. But my question would be..where does that negative emotion come from? Where does that insecurity and jealousy come from? There is either emotional baggage from somewhere or the person is not having their emotional needs met in that relationship. Makes sense?
